Hello, I am a technical and web content writer based in Vancouver, BC. I have worked in various industries such as eHealth, biotech, forestry, engineering, manufacturing, software and not-for-profit. My skill set includes blog writing and user guide authoring using Word and FrameMaker. I am also knowledgeable of single sourcing, topic-based authoring and content re-use practices. I worked as the Documentation Specialist for an optometry practice management company, where I was the sole writer for three years, and worked as part of a writing team for over one year. I gained experience handling the software documentation projects of corporate clients, and was also involved in all phases of the QA process. I used Adobe FrameMaker and Microsoft Word to create comprehensive user guides.

This company produces AED heart monitors. In this position, I use Adobe FrameMaker (version 2017), InDesign CC and Acrobat to make changes to existing user guides and then publish them to a PDF format. I work closely with both the in-house Graphic Designer and Marketing Specialist.
