Shouldn't All Students Receive 'Gifted and Talented' Instruction
Most US schools have gifted and talented programs where students that have been identified through a variety of methods receive separate, high-quality, challenging instruction that their classmates do not. Why are all students not receiving this instruction rather than being asked to complete repetitive, mundane work due to their "lack" of gifted and talented ability? Why have US schools not stopped looking at only test scores to determine ability and deservedness of challenge and variety?
