I'm a former secondary school educator with more than a decade of experience in the instructional design and training field. As an instructional design strategist, I've led the instructional design efforts for corporate and government contracts, providing training needs analysis, curriculum development, and blended learning solutions that include e-learning, instructional led training, mobile learning, and video-based training. I'm experienced in developing materials for a variety of audiences from teenagers to adults and thrive in an environment where I can work closely with clients and subject-matter experts to develop training solutions that achieve both client and learner goals. I'm passionate about literacy and the power of books to change lives. As such, I run a children’s literature website, The Well-Read Child, (www.thewellreadchild.com) that provides children’s book reviews, literacy information, and reading tips to help parents inspire their children to read.
