About Me

I've been writing and editing professionally for over a decade. My  experience ranges from technical/science communication to music journalism to fiction.

Before writing and editing, I did reconnaissance in the Second Ranger Battalion, United States Army. I still strive to maintain the standards I learned with the Rangers. I take deadlines seriously and always strive to give more than is expected of me.

My interests include hiking/camping, martial arts, literature, and history (particularly religious history). I read a lot and exercise regularly. I used to compete in kickboxing but now just train.

In taking on any job, I first make sure to figure out exactly what level of creativity and "personal touch" is appropriate. I then tailor my final product to what is necessary.

I prefer building long-term relationships with clients. I'm loyal by nature and enjoy watching my efforts benefit the business I'm working with. Still, I'm always interested to hear about new opportunities!
