I have the greatest job in the world. I am a freelance writer. That means every day I wake up to a career I love and with the opportunity to learn something new. A friend of mine always greets me with this question: What are you an expert on today? Since 2008, my answer to that question is "the latest security breach in the news!" I primarily cover cybersecurity and emerging technology issues (big data, cloud computing, BYOD), with a particular emphasis on how emerging technology and cybersecurity overlap. I love writing about these topics and connecting with those who are experts, writers, or publishers in those fields. I'm always looking for new contacts and potential writing opportunities.
