nDash.com is a content creation platform that provides brands and agencies with access to the world's top freelance writers.
Once upon a time, I was a staffer at a big city print magazine. But sitting inside at a windowless cubicle all day was killing my soul! In 2013, I went freelance - the best (and scariest, most rewarding) decision I ever made.
I specialize in travel, food/wine/agriculture and environmental reporting. Since going freelance, I have also dipped my toes in the content writing pool and absolutely love it. Because of my editorial background, I'm pretty darn good at it, too. I excel at customer case studies, profiles, blogging, newsletters and advertorials.
A true multimedia journalist, my formal training is in broadcast news. But my first love is feature writing and I feel more "at home" in editorial world. I enjoy using all elements—words, photography, video, blogging and social media—to tell and promote my stories.
My editors and colleagues would tell you that I'm dependable, a go-getter, quick study, avid goal-setter, hard worker, diligent researcher and the type of journalist who always takes pride in her work.
Some of my regular gigs include:
*Research Editor for 5280 Magazine's quarterly shelter publications 5280 Home and 5280 Health
*Contributing writer at Travelmag.com
*Contributing writer at Nebraska Life magazine *Contributing writer at Pipedrive, a CRM for small-to-medium sized businesses
*Editorial clients include 5280 Magazine, AAA EnCompass, Epic Life, Fodor's Travel Intelligence, Alpine Modern, Sunset, Colorado Life, Travelmag.com, MicroShiner, Modern Farmer, Nebraska Life, Bespoke Concierge, snow.com and more.
I'm also the proud owner of Global Gypsies Travel Club, a community of world travelers who meets several times a year to explore new places.
I welcome freelance assignments worldwide and am always looking to meet and work with new editors. Send me a message and let's see how we can work together.
