I am a technical writer working as a business analyst with more than five years of experience working in the oil and gas/pipeline industry. I have branched away from that in the last year, looking for more personal and exciting topics.
I enjoy researching a vast number of topics, and I find that limiting myself in technical writing is not what I find enjoyable. While I did learn a lot about the act of researching, writing, and editing, I found writing user manuals all the time stifling.
