I bring a unique (from what I've been told!) skill set to the creative process. In addition to having worked as a marketing communications and copywriting professional for more than 20 years, I also have a legal background that allows me to inject a distinctive combination of creativity and analytical thinking into any project I work on.
Being the serial entrepreneur that I am, I've always sought ways (beyond the traditional 9-5 position) to work with organizations of all sizes regarding their marketing communication needs. Creativity, combined with an ability to quickly synthesize complicated information into effective marketing messages, gives me an edge when it comes to developing marketing communications materials, strategies and training programs for extremely complex sectors—including the manufacturing, high-tech and pharmaceutical industries.
In addition to my work as a copywriter and content strategist, I also serve as an adjunct instructor in the Elon University School of Communications, teaching courses such as Media Writing, Corporate Publishing, Strategic Writing, Public Relations & Civic Responsibility, Visual Communication, Strategic Campaigns, Professional Speaking & Rhetoric, Copywriting and Principles of Advertising.
