About Me

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile. My name is Alexandria Love. I have a B.A. in Literature from UC Santa Cruz and am currently in the midst of my M.A. in Professional Communications from the University of San Francisco. I'm only 24 years old, but I've lived a pretty cool life: I've worked as a teacher, a journalist, and a radio personality. Nowadays, I spend my time working as a stand-up comedian - you might have seen me at Cobb's Comedy Club, Pianofight Theater, or The Purple Onion at Kells. I've performed in Sacramento, San Diego, Modesto, and so many amazing cities but my heart lies in San Francisco and the beautiful cities by the bay. Through my M.A. in Professional Communications program, my work as a journalist, my entertainment blog, and my stand-up comedy, I should have all of the bases covered for whatever writing job you need. Radio Personality

I was the host producer, marketer, social media manager, and booker of a comedy/news/variety podcast called Here's Why That's Funny at FCC Free Radio in San Francisco. FCC Free Radio is the number one internet radio station in San Francisco, and it has changed the way that the bay area can listen to pirate radio. My show, Here's Why That's Funny, was a weekly two hour show in which I talked to entertainers all over the world and talked to them about what makes them laughed. I learned a lot about comedy in those two years, and I learned a lot about people. I like comedy more.
