So, it is second semester and you still don't have any friends... I am coming to you to let you know I was in your shoes. I knew people, I talked to other students, and I did every step to every online article suggested on “How to make friends in college”. I felt pathetic. I wasn’t ugly, got there the same time everyone else did, but had this sinking feeling it was already too late to make really good friends. Would I have to wait until next year?

I have extensive experience in various forms of writing. I am able to write for academia, business, and technically, but my strengths lie in creative writing, copy writing, and editing. I do not have an issue readjusting my writing patterns to match pre-existing styles for the job I am submitting to. I followed fixed rules when there isn't space for creative and flowery sentences. On the other hand, if my imagination is allowed to flow in any direction then it is difficult for me not produce great results. My creativity scope is endless. I do not find many writing assignments that do not suit me well and I never turn down the opportunity to stop learning.

I have assisted with scholarship approval and denial to utilize our various programming and classes offered through the Kroc Center. I input information into various systems, determine eligibility, and move on with the application process. I also help with distribution of resources (I.e. food, clothing, diapers, formula, etc) to the lower income population surrounding the San Diego area. Soon, I will be able to assist with drafting proposals and grants for larger donors that would help meet the continuing needs of our targeted population.
