As a child, I was an avid reader. Quite early on, however, I realized that reading other people's stories was simply not enough; I wanted to write my own.
From fiction, I inevitably had to move on to academic essays as I entered university. Very soon I realized that I could combine passion and necessary experience as a writer, and I started contributing to blogs, school newspapers and everything in between.
My hobbies include spontaneously purchasing a plane ticket to the South of France and dismantling the patriarchy. I also pride myself in being able to write anything from witty Instagram captions to sponsored blog content and short stories while juggling a couple of exciting personal projects.
As the release of our VOL.4 “Film Edition” approaches, I decided to ride the popular wave and milk the film photography theme as much as I could. Thus, I had a heart-to-heart conversation with my dad (Alexandre Gorchkov, featured above) the other day about his passion for photography and asked him what tips he would give to someone who wants to jump on the film bandwagon.
