I write on variety of topics, generally in pop culture, human interest, health, beauty, food, diet and film/television. I bring humor to my work, when appropriate, and I aim to deliver my best work, on time, the first time.
I worked for over ten years in the recruitment advertising and media analysis fields. I have significant client service experience, and I understand the urgency inherent in the word, "Deadline."
On a lighter note, I have studied sketch comedy writing at The Second City Training Center and I am a member of the Chicago Writer's Association. My work will be featured in the 2018 Mary Scruggs Works By Women Festival.

Responsible for the writing and development of the Drama program at a middle school. The curriculum included implementing common core standards for Language Arts, as well as story analysis, writing, public speaking, and close reading. Responsibilities also encompassed implementation of Language Arts cross-curricular learning for students in the seventh and eighth grades, including those with profound learning disabilities.

Responsibilities included: Write/edit recruitment ads, Participation in client meetings and presentations, Internet research, ➢ Creation of a monthly newsletter for KPMG recruiters.
