About Me

I have a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Art. I am currently living in the Kansas City area.

I have been an SEO writer since 2013 and since then, have written on everything from arts and crafts to travel. Though the kind of topics that I like to do the most are arts and crafts, animals, celebrities, children (I currently have a part-time job working in before and after school care during the school year through the YMCA), fashion, home and family, portrait sketches of professionals, plants and gardening, news, and politics.

I briefly did independent contractor journalistic work for Examiner.com for 11 months from 2010-2011 (see under Experience-please note that Examiner.com has since shut down but I'll keep them there as archives) but discovered that journalism and competing for article popularity isn't my cup of tea. I would much rather provide honest services, like SEO, to people who really need them.

Last but not least, I've also written fiction off and on since I was seven years old. I have yet to majorly publish anything up to this point but one of my pieces for the Winfield Arts and Humanities annual Kansas Voices contest received an Honorable Mention in 2017 and I am hoping that's just the beginning. I participate in National Novel Writing Month every November. I am also currently trying to branch out to freelance essay writing as well.

*Note: Apparently, I can only post three industries in "Industries I Write About" so I picked the top three that I also have the most personal knowledge and exposure to. However, here are some others that I've researched and written about in the past and enjoyed:

-Arts and Crafts: for kids

-Automotive: features on the vehicle and how they work, vehicular services

-Cosmetics: Lime Crime and Doe Deere, the real brand versus copycat fakes, how EOS lip balm came to be

-Consumer Goods: Again, I've done quite a few top tens and twenties here (things like the best cat furniture and most recently, air fryers) and received the same kinds of ratings from clients on these.

-Education: some trades such as welding, technical schools, nursing, respiratory therapy programs, test preparation, unique primary schools (such as one that had only virtual programs, one that's a located in a remote area but uses most of their budget to promote and educate their students to respect the environment)

-Fashion/Apparel: I've done quite a few top tens or twenties on certain clothing such as swimsuits and dresses (most recently, Indian wedding dresses) and received 4- and 5-star (5 meaning excellent) ratings from clients on them

-Financial Services: loan agencies, loans for cars, hedgefund facilities, investment facilities

-Home and Family: plumbing repair, garage door repair, setting up rooms in new homes, buying and selling real estate

-Health and Wellness/Hospital care: Health is one of my top cares in the world. I have been practicing Yoga regularly since about 2010. As a woman myself, I deeply care about women's health especially and am an activist for it. In the past, I have researched and written about skin moisturizers and natural skin treatments and how they work, major changes in quicker methods of communication between hospitals and medical research, and some sketches about a couple of cosmetic surgeons.

-Miscellaneous: sketches of professionals and their major career and philanthropic achievements

Writing and Editing: re-writing content for websites for upgrades or to clean up verbose content, re-capping articles and press releases

Beyond Limits and Labels

This is my personal blog which I set up in 2016. It deals mostly with topics related to psychology, spirituality and fictional pieces since that's what I'm the most familiar with. I titled it what I did because I don't like having to conform to limits or labels and am trying to encourage others to do the same. I have now connected the subscription and Facebook outlets to it. So if it speaks to you to do so, please share and/or subscribe.

What is the best strategy for applying Daily Bible Study into your life?

This is a general article about studying the Bible-something that I have almost lifelong expertise in. This was something I did back when Zerys was new and not yet stablized. However, I can see that it's since improved so I'm planning to make them a priority site now.
