A former teacher, I am the publisher and editor of a weekly newspaper, which includes a heavy focus on digital media (think SEO). For 10 years, I owned and operated Write the First Time, an online freelance writing business with seven employees and clients worldwide.
When not writing, I am an avid reader. I have three children in college and we love to spend time together hiking and enjoying the outdoors. And, my favorite person is my dog Brownie!
My husband retired from the U.S. Navy after 24 years of service. We have traveled extensively and lived in a variety of wonderful locations.
