About Me

I recently returned to the U.S. after working in China for more than a decade, teaching English, Business, Journalism and Western Culture-related courses at Chinese Universities and studying Chinese for two years. Previously, I worked for six years as a staff reporter for the Pasadena Star-News, San Gabriel Valley Tribune and Whittier Daily News in the suburbs of Los Angeles. I'm looking for freelance work blending my journalism background with my interest in different cultures.  I have a bachelor's degree in Print Journalism and a master's degree in Intercultural Studies.
