I grew up milking goats, grooming sheep and feeding ducks, chickens and geese. An avid gardener to this day, my family (with seven children) grew our own food, canned it, and I tagged along with my dad for all his bee farming work. Later, dad and I made our own wine. As a result, I have lots of experience writing about agriculture, farming and the showing of horses.
A grandma now, I live with a Pug, a once feral Chihuahua-mix and together we love our black kitten, Lilith. That's not to mention the three, year-old, Top Hat Polish chickens that fail to lay eggs out back. Point is, I've written a large number of pet articles too.
With my bachelor's degree in communications/English, I've written for higher education, business and newspapers. I've posted a mixture of the topics that I've written about recently, but the subjects I'm familiar with range from personal interest, to technology, hard news, entertainment, and feature stories. I earned my certification in massage therapy from Clover Park Technical Institue and my Hypnotherapy credentials from Mary Lee LaBay's school and have continued my education through the International Hypnotherapist Association.
Washington legislation keeps changing (as does Marijuana legislation nationwide). I have been writing about Cannabis for more than ten years now.
