My name is Victoria Zeccola. I am in my late twenties. I am a Floridian turned Texan. I graduated with a degree in International Relations and Chinese with a minor in English. I have worked in the real estate and senior living industry. I have a background in Market Research, Event Planning, Social Media Management, and Travel Coordinator. 

I have not continued my studies in Internation Relations, but I still continue to monitor current domestic and foreign issues. I enjoy listening to the news, political podcast and watching political satire. I also enjoy reading books on both historical and current events. 

I am an avid TV watcher. I most enjoy watching shows like Game of Thrones, The Magicians, Sabrina, and Stranger Things. However, I also enjoy watching Korean Dramas. I also enjoy going to the movies. If possible, I like to see most movies in theaters. 

I enjoy reading. I have expanded my taste in books over the year and have explored more non-fiction. My favorite type of novels are sci-fi-fantasy, but I also enjoy General Fiction. It is my dream to write a series of novels in this genre. 

Due to my interest in movies, TV, and books, I also enjoy going to pop-culture conventions. I have worked as a volunteer at Walker Stalker Con, Heroes and Villians, and will be volunteering at Big Easy Con. I have attended conventions in Tampa FL, Orlando FL, Dallas TX, Atlanta GA, and Nashville TN. I would eventually like to attend New York Comic Con and San Diego Comic Con. I have also worked for the Gasparilla Film Festival as a lead volunteer and have ambitions to work at both Sundance and the Toronto Film Festival. 

I currently live in Houston TX. Houston is known for the diversity of its people and its food. On weekends, I often explore new local restaurants, attend food festivals, and engage in local activities around the city. Houston has so much to offer and it continues to grow each day. 

I not only love trying new food, but I also enjoy trying out new skills and hobbies. In my first two years in Houston, I've picked up salsa, started playing sand volleyball, and joined a Dungeons and Dragons group. I would love the opportunity to continue to learn new things. 

Although I studied Chinese in college, I have been trying to practice and perfect my studies. I am interested in not only learning Chinese but also Korean and Spanish. My desire to learn languages pairs with my love of traveling. In college, I traveled to Turkey, the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, and Taiwan. I will be traveling to Ireland this year, and would like to take a trip to South Korea in the near future.
