I have a Masters Degree in Magazine Journalism, and I am an experienced journalist, blogger and copywriter - I have a profound love for the English language and the power of the written word.
I have been a single parent for the last 20 years, and this has taught me to be incredibly-organised, solution focused, resourceful, and highly motivated. My daughter has now left home, so I have the time and freedom to concentrate on personal projects and also travel the world - I have spent the last year in Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia, writing as I go.

A five-page beauty feature for YOGA Magazine working in partnership with the charity Veganuary, which encourages people to try going vegan for January. As Beauty Editor, it was my role to source all of the products, test and review each item and then write the content. I also sourced all of the imagery and fact-checked the stockist and price information and sent a copy of the magazine to individual brands.
