I taught Secondary 2, 3 and 4 IGCSE First Language English and IGCSE English Literature, I taught IGCSE English as a Second Language, and I was also in charge of teaching Literacy for Secondary 1 and 2. As PSB was a relatively new school; I was also responsible for building-up resources and worksheets for both the English Language syllabus and the Literacy syllabus. I was also responsible for organising and finding resources for teacher training.

In 2004, I was employed as an English teacher for JIKS. I was responsible for delivering ‘multimedia’ based lessons preparing students for the TOEFL exam that students took during Grade 12. Many lessons were presented using Microsoft PowerPoint and other types of multimedia. As I was one of the few teachers who had extensive experience in Microsoft programs, I was asked to present a number of training sessions to help teachers make the transition to (for the school) new technology.
