I am an experienced clinical researcher with extensive expertise in the field of HIV prevention, treatment and vaccine development. Currently, I hold the position of Scientist II and have responsibilities involving the development, implementation and results dissemination for international and domestic clinical trials for the HIV Prevention Trials Network (HPTN) and the HIV Vaccine Trials Network (HVTN). Prior to joining FHI 360, I worked for five years as a clinical research scientist in the pharmaceutical industry gaining experience in project management, drug development and regulatory affairs. Prior to transitioning into clinical research, I worked for seven years performing basic research in the area of structural biology, with particular emphasis on protein structure/function and HIV.
