nDash.com is a content creation platform that provides brands and agencies with access to the world's top freelance writers.
With over a decade of experience across medical, academic and business settings, I am a generalist by nature who thrives in situations that call for creativity, analytical thinking and initiative.
Medicine/Healthcare Industry
I have an extensive background in clinical healthcare research and writing. I have coordinated grant-funded studies, conducted clinical interviews and neuropsychological assessments, and co-authored peer-reviewed medical journal articles and abstracts for presentation at conferences. As a freelancer, I have written over 100 consumer-targeted online articles on various topics of health and disease.
Mental Health
With a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, I am also well-versed in matters of mental health. In 2011, I published a book entitled How To Feel Good: 20 Things Teens Can Do with Magination Press, children's imprint of the American Psychological Association. Rooted in cognitive-behavioral and positive psychology principles, the book provides twenty strategies to empower young people to take well-being into their own hands.
Business & Marketing
For 3 years, I worked for a professional recruitment firm in midtown Manhattan where I served as Director of Marketing and Web Development. During that time, I honed my skills in strategic content development and communications, writing everything from press releases, to ad creative, to website content, to sales collateral.
Blogging/Article Writing
Currently, I am developing two personal projects.
The first - PlantxFuture.com - covers the #planttech beat. Specifically, it will feature articles on innovation with plants, and how "plant technology" is transforming food and agriculture, textiles, climate and more.
For my second project - FwrdNav.com - I play futurist and look to where fringe is becoming future. No industries barred, FWRD NAV highlights possible futures in our present, examining trends and forecasts in everything from plant-based and cultured meats, to mobility (e-bikes, one wheels, unicycles, EVs), to last mile delivery, to the post-trend fashion industry and beyond.
