My names is Jessica Low. I have lived in Joplin my entire life and attended Joplin Schools. I graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Writing and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature, both through Missouri Southern State University. My BA in Writing has given me the ability to write all sorts of business documents, such as bids, grants, proposals, formal emails, and contracts. I have learned medical terminology, legal languages, and all about technical writing. I currently work a few hours a week writing blog posts for various hotels all around the U.S. My degree in literature has prepare me for analyzing documents and looking for meaning within words and between the lines, connecting ideas that haven’t been explored before. My personal writing has been published in anthologies and journals for years. I was a writing and literature teacher for 2 years and have worked as an administrative assistant for many years where I remained highly organized and knowledgeable of the government language in contracts we received.
