I am Jorge Hernandez based in Florida and I have been a freelance writer for 4 years now. I quit my boring job to follow my dreams of becoming a writer, and I have no regrets whatsoever. (Well I do miss my health insurance, but that’s a whole another story).Along with my writing passion, I am also a blockchain enthusiast, investor and research analyst at Goldsilveranalyst.com.At just 21, it is not easy to voluntarily walk away from a lucrative job and decide to become self-employed especially when you don’t have any significant external sources of finance. Today, my pride knows no bounds because against all odds, I’ve managed to keep my head above water and stay afloat.

Rather than pecuniary considerations, the only reason I ditched my previous job is to realize my lifelong dream of becoming a full-time writer. The job I quit had the potential to make me financially secure but unlike writing, I had no passion for it.

Realizing their importance to a budding writer, I’ve developed a voracious appetite for books and it's my desire to globetrot for as many of them as I can. My writing career is now about 18 months old and I must say that it has brought me great joy and fulfillment.

With hindsight, I can boldly declare that switching over to writing was an absolutely brilliant idea. It could well rank as the best decision I’ve made. As a writer, my main areas of interest are technology, blockchain, spirituality, fitness, finance, artificial intelligence, and cryptocurrency.

Being a young writer, I’m fully aware that I’m still learning the ropes and that my CV may be considered as lightweight in some quarters. But my love for writing and determination to excel are sufficient incentives for building a successful career.
