Content Strategist, SEO Expert, and Writer/Editor

About Me

I've been working in content marketing for 12 years. I started out grinding as a writer on a content farm, but within 6 years, I was running a busy content department at a digital marketing agency in Sydney, Australia.

In 2019, I grew weary of the agency life and became a freelance content strategist and SEO consultant, using the content production and auditing processes I'd perfected while in agency-land.

Coronavirus put a hold on my plans to be a digital nomad, so I have relocated to my home state of Maine, on the east coast of the US. I still have clients all over the world.

I've written and managed award-winning strategies for brands like the AARP, the RSPCA, AMP Capital, QBE Insurance, Thrifty Car Hire, and Lifestyles Condoms, to name a few.

I'm a writer by trade and have years of experience blending creativity with smart SEO tactics to create content that both pulls in new business and engages my client's audience.

I also run in-house or virtual SEO or content strategy training workshops, and back when there were conferences, I used to do public speaking. Nowadays it's mostly podcasts and webinars, but I still love sharing my knowledge with curious digital marketers.

On a more personal note, I'm a book worm, which is why I also run a fiction-editing business in my spare time. I live on a lake, so I spend a lot of time kayaking and hiking around my beautiful state. Otherwise, you'll find me playing Animal Crossing or laying on the couch, giving my dog Aussie the attention she deserves.
