I'm a person who likes to make things with words. Sometimes it's books, often it's news articles and features, and a lot of the time it's blogs and press releases. I’ve worked in journalism for 20 years. During this time I've written for a host of newspapers, websites, and anyone else needing a well-written feature, hard news, advertorials, sports reports, or a piece of sparkling copy which hits the spot. Managing workloads, meeting deadlines, delivering the goods, and creating killer content is my specialty. If it's words you want, I can make them sing, dance and jump through hoops.
I've served 15 years as a sports editor and features writer for a regional newspaper and have written trending news stories and opinion pieces for websites such as Yahoo! I've ghostwritten for brands and private individuals for over a decade, and as a podcast writer for Deep English, I've helped teach my native tongue to over 400,000 learners around the world. Deep English is a website teaching English to over 400,000 language learners worldwide. The podcasts I wrote for the site needed to be simple, concise, and engaging. They were all based on events that were out of the ordinary and had a definite 'wow' factor.

As a features writer I interviewed people from all walks of life, including war veterans, Elvis impersonators, celebrities, comedians, heads of industry, psychics, novelists, professional athletes, the disgruntled, the despairing, the delirious and the delighted. The other hat I wore at the Abergavenny Chronicle was that of Sports Editor. This involved designing the sports pages through Adobe InDesign.
