About Me

My experiences in retail taught me to look for ways to engage customers.  My time teaching ESL forced me to be creative in my wording.  Both these things benefit my clients now!

I bring a strong work ethic, love of learning, and an eye for proofreading to every project I take on.  When you work with me, you work with someone who's flexible and wants your project to succeed.  It becomes my #1 priority until it's done.

Banner Ad - Spec

Sometimes banner ads can be difficult, you might not have a lot of room for copy! In this test of my skills, I focused on tightly-packing the message and strong calls to action. The main goal is customers signing up for a discounted trial class. The secondary goal is that they continue purchasing lessons after!

Sometimes your ad really just needs short and simple. This ad conforms to Facebook guidelines and reminds customers we have a bright future ahead of us. The call to action continues this theme.

I challenged myself to follow an already established brand voice and picked Macy's. Direct and to the point, giving the customer all the information they need without frivolity. The call to action is straight forward, locate your closest store!

Experience

English Teacher

I work as an ESL teacher, teaching middle school students conversational English and developing curriculum to help them pass their end-of-year exams. My biggest learning curves that have helped me with writing copy: 1) finding ways to make content engaging and keep their attention (middle schoolers are honest critics). 2) finding new ways to discuss topics that get the point across, without a native teacher in the room.
