Copy & Article Writing for Agriculture

About Me

I’m a small farm owner and writer for the agriculture and horticulture industries. I love and live the work I write about.

I develop marketing content (website copy, landing pages, email funnels) and write long-form and blog articles for corporate, higher education, and small farm businesses. I have over 20 years of marketing experience with agencies and clients in a variety of industries. But my sweet spot is translating complex agriscience topics into meaningful stories that motivate customers to act.

I excel at distilling key messages, thinking from the customer's perspective, coordinating with remote teams, and brainstorming.

I primarily use WordPress for publishing and am also a pinch-hit designer in Adobe Suite software (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere).

I'm a lifelong (mostly) organic gardener with a passion for sustainable agriculture, plant breeding, wildlife, soil health, and pollinators. I manage a small family farm of 86 acres in the Piedmont of NC with a thriving apiary, a herd of heritage breed cattle, and a market garden.

My clients choose me for my informed but accessible tone and independent nature. They love receiving writing that doesn't need to be rewritten.  I'd love to schedule a 15-minute discovery call to learn how I might be of service to you and your clients.
