About Me

I am a freelance writer and travel journalist. Originally from Detroit, MI, I have traveled to 67 countries and am now nomadic.

My work can be seen in CNN, AFAR, National Geographic, Fodor's, Cruise Industry News (industry publication; print; regular contributor), Unearth (print; feature story alongside Gloria Steinem), Trivago Magazine, easyJet Traveller, and The Yucatan Times, among others.

For my corporate clients, I've written blogs on a variety of subjects, from cruise ships to walk-in bathtubs and Canadian government programs offering payment assistance. I've written brochures, product descriptions, and client contact materials. Finally, some of my writing for sponsored content can be found in national and international publications.

For my business writing, I use my knowledge and experience from my work as a senior officer with Disney Cruise Line. As the head of the onboard children's program for Disney as well as other cruise lines and teaching overseas, I can write about children, parenting, and education from personal knowledge and experience.

I am adaptable to a variety of writing styles, though humor comes naturally. Clients have commented that my pieces which are informative with a touch of humor tend to have a higher readership than more traditional and even SEO pieces written by others (though I also write in those styles).

Please contact me to see how we might work together to achieve your goals.
