Travis moved to Bradenton, FL from St. Paul, Minnesota, to work as the Public Relations & Social Media Manager for the Florida Swimming Pool Association. He studied communication at Finlandia University, which is located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and also played NCAA Division 3 hockey. During his senior year, he interned for a local radio station. Travis’s first post-graduation job combined his journalism background with his love of hockey. He worked for a Junior A hockey team as their Digital Marketing Specialist. In his spare time, his hobbies include producing his own podcast with his old college roommate/teammate, golfing, and spending time on the lake. Travis continues to stay involved with the sport of hockey by volunteering as a referee.
