About Me

Welcome! My name is Celine Burrows, and I graduated from Simmons University in Boston, MA in 2020, with a GPA of 3.75, a major in Public Health and a minor in Healthcare Management. I began working at the Maine CDC in January of 2020 while also finishing my degree because of my excitement to enter the workforce. My phlebotomy and nursing assistant education included extensive HIPAA and medical terminology training, both of which I am highly knowledgeable in. I am currently working at the Frannie Peabody Center in Portland, ME as the Marketing and Development Coordinator, but I am also looking to do additional freelance writing work to supplement my income. I am extremely experienced in the healthcare field, and my background in science and social services would be an asset to any individual or organization looking for a writer who has extensive knowledge of these areas. I have been working for non profits since 2018 when I was the Assistant Educator for the Youth Humane Education program, therefore I also have experience with creating lesson plans and educational materials. My current duties primarily involve identifying and applying for grants and other fundraising opportunities, and managing the organization's social media platforms and events.
