After spending nearly a decade in the US Army, I began working on my transition plan to a traditional career path. As most servicemembers encounter, the transition isn’t always as straightforward as we’d like it to be. The jump to the ‘civilian world’ from the military routine often takes some time to find the right fit.

I knew I wanted to be involved in business and leadership, but this didn’t really start to take shape until I started writing more during my MBA program. I loved researching new topics, identifying ways to apply them to different businesses, and enjoyed daydreaming of business ventures that I could get involved with.

That’s what brought me here. I kept receiving positive feedback on my writing and my ability to quickly synthesize information into a coherent and digestible format.
