Hi, my name is Carolyn Stovall.
I am a professional author. I have written two books: "A Texas Gal Cooks" Cookbook, and a children's book: " Granny Ozarks Treats."
I was awarded "Best Cookbook in Texas" in 2018 from the Texas Association of Authors.
I was honored at a banquet at Los Colinas, Texas. I received a certificate, and a gold medal for my awards.
I was also invited to have my cookbook in the Texas Authors Museum in Austin, Texas. My cookbook will remain there forever. This was quite an honor.
My Cookbook was chosen to sell at the Go Texan store at the State Fair of Texas in 2015, until present. Also, I sell A Texas Gal Cooks cookbook on Amazon. The World-Famous Collin Street Bakery also chose my cookbook to sell there.

I have also written weekly recipes for The Kerens Tribune until it closed. I did the recipes according to seasons, and holidays. I had a large following from The Kerens Tribune.
I also do public Programs, and public speaking at ladies' clubs, and community programs. I also do cooking demonstrations at programs.
I am very talented and creative, and I am not limited with only writing cooking skills. My writing is very broad. I can write a creative article on any subject. I have helped many students to write their thesis on varied subjects. I have excellent grammar and spelling skills. I am a perfectionist on my writing articles.
My children's book- "Granny Ozark's Treats" is an amazing children's book. It is a about a granny that lives in a cottage by a bus stop where her neighbor children get off the bus each day. Granny and her dog, Suzy, meet the children each day with a homemade treat. They have lots of fun at Granny's house. They ride ponies, pet her cow, Bessie. They also fish in her pond. and have picnics, and a lot of other fun things.
I also received a "First Place Award for Cover Design" for my Granny Ozark's Treats children's book. This award came from The Texas Association of Authors in 2019.
