About Me

I started my professional career as a radio advertising producer, but I've since taken to writing full-time—and I love it.

My specialty is taking complex or dry subject material and turning it into something that anyone can understand without sacrificing accuracy or utility. Working earlier with multi-sensor pipeline inspection (complex!) and presently with home insurance (dry!), I've been in writing-focused marketing roles for years.

I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Professional Communication at Royal Roads University in 2021, working part-time on school while maintaining full-time employment. Since then, I've used my newfound free time to branch out into occasional freelance work.

I live in Vancouver, British Columbia, the province in which I was also born. I've lived in BC all my life, except for a couple of years in New Zealand. I'm an avid hiker and camper, and I love cooking. I spend leisure time at home reading, watching hockey, playing video games, and trying to get plants to grow in our dim apartment. I love immersing myself in my hobbies and learning everything I possibly can about subjects that interest me.
