I love to write. For the past three years, I've worked as a freelance journalist for the Mint Hill Times and Tri W News, local papers to where I live in Waxhaw, NC. I had my first magazine article published in 2010 in Bay State Parent Magazine ("The Gluten-Free Kid"). Since then, I have been working as a freelance writer, blogging on Medium.com, and have successfully authored my first novel, "A Dark Turn Of Mind," under the pen name Ellen West. I am currently working on my first children's book.
