Christ Healing the Sick by Rembrandt is a beautiful piece of art that will remain timeless, and the elements of the work produce a visual of the eternal love of Christ. To understand the visual, I will share my first impression of the work, talk about its components, and explain how it all comes together to show the nature of the piece. One of my initial impressions of Rembrandt’s piece was Christ lighting up the space he was in, and without him there it would have been only a dark hall.
It was Dorothea Lange who truthfully stated, "If you come close to the truth, there are consequences." This rings true when looking into the FSA project and its photographers such as her. When Lange was employed by the Office of War Information after America entered World War II, it was her job to photograph the Japanese Internment. The OWI began to shift toward propaganda during this time, and Lange was instructed to photograph Japanese Americans being calmly relocated.
I frequently would prepare route sheets and schedules for employees, and would also write out thank you cards and invitations for dental offices. I was relied upon for my handwriting and grammar. I also drove 6 hours out of the day for deliveries, while simultaneously gaining in-person business from other offices. I boosted clientele and gave great service!
