About Me

For over a decade and under tight deadlines I've worked as an editor, writer and reporter (both freelance and full-time). My work has appeared in New York Magazine, Rolling Stone, NPR Music, Billboard The Guardian, and elsewhere. Although music journalism has been a constant throughout my career, I have worn many hats, from business reporter to feature writer and editor to ghostwriter. I have a Masters in cultural criticism from NYU and I am attaining my MFA in fiction and nonfiction writing from the Bennington Writing Seminars. My skill set includes audio storytelling through radio production, hosting, and music curation; I'm fluent in Logic Pro, Wordpress, Adobe InCopy, and Microsoft Word. A curious and driven self-starter with great ideas who works just as productively on my own as I do in collaborative environments, I am currently seeking part-time or contract work that challenges me creatively, and allows me to tell the stories of others in audio or written formats.
