nDash.com is a content creation platform that provides brands and agencies with access to the world's top freelance writers.
I am a writer and journalist with ten years experience making films for the BBC and Channel 4. My work has covered an array of topics, with a particular focus on issues affecting marginalised communities. My research and investigative skills have been developed across academic, media and legal environments making me a versatile and resourceful employee, skilled in sourcing information, identifying and presenting stories (whether in writing or as a film) and building and nurturing relationships with sources/contributors.
My written work is varied, ranging from children's stories to articles on current affairs, culture, history, parenting, food and travel.
I have been published in The Guardian, Riposte Magazine, Drift, Ambrosia, Womanly and Postscript among others.
My children's stories have been shortlisted by Nosy Crow and I was a finalist on the Penguin Random House 'Write Now' scheme.
