Yvette Walker is an experienced English educator, a freelance writer and editor, an attorney and a scholar with many interests. She earned a degree in English from Duke University, Master of Arts in English and Teaching English Education from Brown University and a Juris Doctorate from the NCCU School of Law. Yvette’s career in education is composed of a variety of experiences including: as a secondary and post secondary (public and private) English educator with more than twenty years of experience, curriculum development, creating and evaluating assessments, facilitator and administrator. Her freelance writing and editing experience includes journalism, business writing, blogging, poetry, essay writing and the editing of several books and more. The Oxford University Press published  her writings in a series of encyclopedias of history. She is the owner of WriteWorks Global, a professional writing and editing service that also offers research, document review and transcribing services. Yvette’s interests include travel, history, global education and culture.
