Allow me to introduce myself. I am Ken Berry. Originally from Fresno, Ca., I now reside in the greater Indianapolis area with my wife of 28 years, Linda. We share three grown boys, each deep into their careers which officially makes us "Empty-Nesters."
In 2015, I retired from the military and started attending school ever since (sort of). I'm four classes away from a Master of Arts in Public Relations. My professional aspirations are to be a freelance writer on topics that interests me, but I like to grow as a screenwriter.
My motivation for signing up for the site is developing my skillset and become a better writer and person. I enjoy being home but finding a way to monetize that can be challenging. If you and I collaborate on a project, know I will do my best to fulfill your needs. My goal is to develop lasting relationships with people with that I share common interests.
So what do I find interesting enough to want to write? Well, let's see. I'm a military buff at heart, but I also like things like trucking, especially in this latest autonomous industry. I also enjoy the craft of training. Being a trainer instead of an educator, especially in a non-traditional environment, has its own set of obstacles and objectives. I can help you with this, or at the very least, share what I know about the subject. I also enjoy travel. My career allowed me to visit many countries along the way. Although my visits tend to be more of a professional reason, I certainly had plenty of opportunities to explore the landscape, enjoying its people, culture, and food.

My last official assignment was training reserve and national guard troops for their respective overseas assignments. This required creating scenario based training events, capturing and analyzing key events during the training session, and reporting results to higher command. Script writing and film production were a major component to my work as it was the channel which we used to archive the lessons learned.
