A full-time airline pilot, part-time military officer, and always dad and husband. I graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Integrated English Language Arts Education from Miami University (OH), and I am currently in-process working on a master's degree. My interests range from flying to fitness, education to home improvement. I am mostly a descriptive grammarian (vice prescriptive), and you can expect the Oxford Comma in my work--unless, of course, you don't want it.
I spent over ten years on Active Duty in the Navy traveling the country and the world. During that time I worked in Training, Operations, Scheduling, Standardization, Safety, and Evaluation. I have developed, managed, and employed syllabi for training future fighter pilots, and created safety systems for over 100 pilots flying $2B worth of aircraft. I have crafted e-mails, papers, reports, and presentations both to and for high-ranking officers and civilians. From e-mails to formal evaluations, when I wasn't flying a jet, I was flying a desk.
