My life experience and professional background have gifted me with an exceptional capacity for clear and empathetic communication. I’ve been teaching college writing for fourteen years and what I love most about the work is the creative challenge of connecting with students across generations and diverse backgrounds, building conversations around complex topics broken into digestible form, empowering them with the skills necessary to best express their inner lives.
In my work as an independent contractor, I’ve written and edited marketing copy, blog content, and online material across industries, working closely with art directors to move ideation into form. I’ve created social media campaigns and produced their content, developing distinct brand voices that align with client values and intentions. What I’ve learned is I have an exceptional capacity for adapting content to its clearest, most incisive expression, developing a unique voice that best serves the project.

Assembling large letter and ephemera archives for private clients including research and descriptive writing.
