On paper, I’m just electrical engineer in the electric power industry. In reality, I write instruction manuals and white papers, mentor young engineers, do programming/coding as the occasion requires, and I am the go-to person at the office in matters relating to equipment monitoring and control.
Outside of work, I occasionally write short op-ed pieces for a small newspaper, less frequently do photography, and I‘m always doing the family thing with my wife, our nine year old son, two cats, and a pug. Recreationally, I have a very healthy appreciation of nature, classical music, breathtaking views, history, and a good bottle of wine.
I really enjoy writing; my inner-nerd ensures that it is factual, my country upbringing heavily influences practicality, my experience effects professionalism, and my passion guarantees poignancy.
In general, I’m just swimming in the river of life, and I enjoy a good challenge when one comes along.
