With an Associate’s Degree in Creative Writing and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, I often intersect both subjects and incorporate them into my writing. With that being said, I write poetry and short stories. I have finished one unpublished novel and have written a couple of screenplays that are also unpublished. On the other hand, I have written content about social problems and done research assignments that inspire me to bring more awareness to social issues and integrate them into my creative style of writing.
I have chosen to include an article I recently wrote that discusses the mistreatment of people who become wards of the state. I used I Care a Lot and Take Care of Maya as two films that touch on the subject heavily.

This article centers on climate change and how it is impacting the environment. I wrote about this because of how passionate I am about global warming. I do believe that more action needs to be taken rather than bringing awareness to something we are already aware of.

In the museum, I worked in different galleries that involved engaging with children and educating them on particular themes or subjects pertaining to a specific gallery. While doing so, I made it my duty to ensure they also have a fun learning experience, as some galleries had activities. Lastly, I assisted in giving school tours and teaching children about the same subjects that they were learning in their school at the time.
