I speak four languages, French, Spanish, Mandarin, and English is my mother tongue. I have studied, traveled, and worked in all those countries. For 15 years I taught English as a foreign language abroad and in England, and ran my own business teaching French to very young children in the UK. That's how I got into marketing. I had done it for myself for so long that I started doing it for others.
In 2020 I became marketing director for a small company, writing all of the sales copy for an innovative working-from-home desk. I ran social media, wrote blogs, created the website, and ran ads in magazines, and Exeter and Newquay airport.
I also took on other freelance clients at the same time. Briefs were diverse such as blogging for a high-end baby brand, creating web copy for an ex-soldier's sports classes, sales leaflets for a local trader, and brochure writing for a transport company.
I love to write about education, mainly language learning. I was a regular contributor for 3 years to a preschool magazine.
I write about health, well-being and spirituality. This is a passion of mine and I have found immense value in everything I have learned in my own well-being journey. I have just agreed to start a project with a creative kinesiologist for whom I will be creating web copy and blogs.
I am a creative writer. I am currently ghostwriting memoirs for a client which will be finished by the end of the year, and I am a poet. I regularly join meetings of the Poetry Society and contribute my verses and short stories to Medium.
