About Me

Hello, I'm Evan Cain—an actress, singer, and creator weaving my artistic tapestry in the vibrant landscapes of San Diego and Los Angeles, CA. My journey into the world of performing arts took root at Francis Parker School, where I dedicated four transformative years to mastering the craft. Here, my love for the stage led me to explore various facets of theatre, from stage managing and directing to music direction and choreography.

As the President of the Drama Club and a teacher's assistant for acting courses spanning 7th grade through high school, I embraced every opportunity to immerse myself in the rich tapestry of drama. My time at Francis Parker laid the foundation for a future filled with creative endeavors.

Currently navigating my second year as a Theatre: Performance major at Fordham University, Lincoln Center, I continue to expand my artistic horizons. At Fordham, I've not only honed my acting skills but also played a pivotal role as a carpenter and production manager assistant. My involvement in both Studio and Mainstage productions, including a Senior Thesis Studio Production alongside three talented upperclassmen, has fueled my anticipation for the exciting projects yet to unfold.

Beyond the stage, I've found a creative outlet in the world of writing. Starting at Francis Parker School, I began crafting blog posts and informational pieces about the Drama Club's latest productions. During quarantine, I co-founded an online blog called The QuaranTimes, where I assumed the role of Arts and Culture Head. Here, I write weekly articles covering a spectrum of topics within arts and culture, showcasing my versatility as a storyteller.

In the realm of hospitality, I balance my artistic pursuits as a server and assistant restaurant manager at Creme De La Crepe—a charming French restaurant in San Diego, CA. This role has enhanced my commitment to excellence, underscored by my SERVSafe Food and Alcohol Certification.

Eager to broaden my creative horizons, I've recently embarked on a modeling career, complementing my journey in acting. Deeply passionate about family, philosophy, voice, yoga, and self-care, I infuse these elements into both my personal and professional life.

Looking ahead, my dual commitment to academia and the arts remains unwavering. I plan to continue my academic journey at Fordham while actively auditioning for roles in both Los Angeles and San Diego. My passion for the art of theatre and film knows no bounds, matched only by my readiness to embrace any challenge that comes my way. Join me as I continue to explore the endless possibilities within the realms of creativity and self-expression.
