About Me

From the earliest memories I have, I remember myself as a 2nd-grade student who is pasting a coloured sheet, on which the word "Doctor" has been written in a not-so cursive writing, on the class activities board. Even, the then-teacher was impressed by the then kind of conviction shown by a near toddler towards her career. This interest was fostered vigorously during my subsequent years of study, and Biology came to be my greatest liking and forte. The inclination towards being a "Doctor" disappeared during my 9th and 10th standards but my predilection for biology was sustained and I eventually took up Medical with Mathematics in high school.

Therefore, I pursued my under graduation in Animal Biology/Zoology from Hindu College, Delhi University. The curriculum of the course was one thing but the kind of exposure, peers, faculty and the overall ecosystem the college provided was another ballgame altogether. Here, I showed the real transition from a nerdy personality to a confident and more self-aware individual.

The particular part where I experienced something otherworldly was when I started to take initiative in various extra-curricular activities. Firstly, I became a part of a research study which had its own share of challenges and learnings. In all, it displayed to me the hard-line protocols and invaluable practical assays of biological research. Secondly, I got selected for a consulting society, which was an entirely different and sort of "unconventional" venture for me. Herein, I learned about various things like event management, team leadership, and even various business problems faced by different startups. In my stint with the consulting society, I realised I had a knack for the several opportunities wherein marketing was required. Further, I even enjoyed it and went on to find more such ventures, which eventually led me to other clubs with similar profiles.

With this insightful engagement, I got much engrossed in this space and started to search for career options that would most align with the same. Hence, I found a Master in Business Administration (MBA), a very captivating and well-suited professional degree thereafter. So, I started preparing for the management entrance exams.

Here, at nDash, I aim to continue my existing passion for writing along with making a certain side income. The focus is on writing and accentuating the nuances of it.

This article shows scientists in Colombia propose culling the invasive "cocaine hippos," descendants of Pablo Escobar's private zoo, as their population poses environmental threats. Estimates suggest 80-120 hippos in Colombian waterways, potentially reaching 1400 by 2034. The lack of predators and favorable Colombian weather contribute to their unchecked growth. Can Increasing the Limit to Age 21 Help Marginalised Indians?

This write-up shows how child marriage is a grave issue in India, affecting 33.33% of global child brides. Legal amendments, increasing the marriageable age to 21, aim to curb this crisis.
